Due at 30, 60, 90, and 120 hours.
Journal entries must include:
- What the student did and observed
- What the student thought about what was done and observed
- How the student felt about what was done and observed
- How many hours were worked each time the student sisited the field placement site
Journal entries might include:
- Copies of relevant policy and program documents used/generated by the library or information agency
- Photos or other descriptive information about the site, and/or specific activities undertaken at the site (e.g. pictures of work area at the site, or of a book talk or story hour in a public library; or instruction session at an academic)
- Floor plan of the library/agency
- Copies of documents developed or edited by the student (brochures, bibliographies, Web sites, etc.)
